Basil Psanoudakis is producing music & multimedia content for 20 years and has a passion for musical influences from the Middle East, India and Europe.

He produced a series of cd's in the early 2000's titled Rovolotion & these explored musical genres such as dub, techno and noise.  In 2006 he formed the musician network Masonik, which sees multiple musicians performing and producing work from very diverse musical backgrounds.  Masonik has played in the styles of dub, ambient, jazz, noise, dubstep, metal & drone. In 2010 Masonik released its debut CD The Vedantic Chapter, which featured turntables, bass, saxophone, tabla, sitar, sarangi & keyboards.  In early 2011 Masonik performed as apart of the Perth International Arts Festival and collaborated with Swiss artists Maschi Fontana and composed the soundtrack to their sculptural piece Rising Lotus. Later in 2011 Basil created 30 short films, The Invocation Frame,  for the ABC Pool and this was performed in Melbourne & projected at The Dark Horse Experiment Gallery and Federation Square.  Currently Masonik is preparing to run a series of performances & screenings of The Invocation Frame in Western Australia and has begun work on a Death Metal/Ambient/Dub project.
